Medicines Alert — Android reminders, alarms & history
This Privacy Policy explains how Medicines Alert (“the App”) handles your information. We designed the App to work locally on your device to schedule medicine reminders, alarms, and keep a basic history.
In short: we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers. Your medicine names, schedules, and history remain on your device unless you choose to delete them or uninstall the App.
All of the above stays on your device’s app storage. We do not operate any cloud service for this App.
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or location via this App.
POST_NOTIFICATIONSTo display reminder notifications (Android 13+ asks you to grant this at runtime).
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARMTo trigger alarms at the exact minute you set (Android 12+). You can manage this in system settings.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETEDSo reminders can be re-scheduled after you restart your device (if applicable).
VIBRATETo allow vibration with your alarm tone.
The App is intended for general audiences. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under your care has provided information to us (note: we do not run servers for this App), please contact us at contact@arifulsh.com.
The App stores data locally using Android’s app sandbox. Please keep your device secure with a screen lock and do not share it with untrusted parties.
We do not transfer your data internationally because we do not collect or store it on servers.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
